Wood County Hospital to Present Program on Osteoporosis
When you think about staying health, you probably think about making lifetyle changes to prevent cancer and heart disease. But keeping your bones healthy is just as important. By 2020, half of all Americans over age 50 are expected to have low bone density or osteoporosis.
As part of its Health Matters Lecture Series, Wood County Hospital will present a program on Osteoporosis on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. in the hospital meeting rooms. Family physician David Barnes, M.D., will discuss ways mature adults can improve upon their bone health.
The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Register online at woodcountyhospital.org or call 419-354-8887.
