Wood County Hospital to Offer Low Cost Blood Screenings at Community Wellness Day

Cost of the blood draw screening is $85 for the 10 hour fasting blood test, which includes 20 different lab tests such as blood glucose, cholesterol incluing HDL and LDL, triglycerides, electrolytes, kidney function, and a TSH thyroid. An optional PSA test to detect early prostate cancer is available for an additional $20. A package of four vascular screening sites for early detection of vascular disease such as coronary artery disease, heart attack and stroke will be available for $100 or $35 per individual site.
