Wood County Hospital Sponsors Diabetes Health Fair
The Diabetes Education Department at Wood County Hospital is sponsoring its ninth annual Diabetes Health Fair, “Live Everyday Active and Prepared,” on Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. until noon in the hospital meeting rooms. People whose lives are affected by diabetes will have an opportunity to learn more about the disease and how it can be managed.
Optometrist Mile Brujic, OD, will speak about eye health and diabetes at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m.
The event will also feature a cooking demonstration, health screenings, exhibits, food and giveaways. The Health Fair is free and open to the public.
