Wood County Hospital and BG Police Division Offer Class on Personal Safety and Self Defense

On Saturday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wood County Hospital and the Bowling Green Police Division are sponsoring a free Personal Safety and Self Defense Class at Wood County Hospital. The class will provide information on prevention strategies to help you reduce your risk of becoming a victim. It will also familiarize participants with self-defense techniques that can be used to reduce the effects of assaults on victims. Active physical participation is not requierd but encouraged.

Topics include how not to look like a victim, ideas to make your home more secure, tips for traveling, and how to take action into your own hands.
