Welcome new hospitalist, Samih Hawasli, M.D.

Dr. Hawasli grew up in Ann Arbor Michigan and most recently worked in the Traverse City area at Munson Medical Center providing comprehensive inpatient care.

Dr. Hawasli received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed residency training at Wayne State University in the Internal Medicine Program at Crittenton Hospital. He is a member of the American Medical Association and Society of Hospital Medicine.

Coming from a larger medical center, Dr. Samih looks forward to providing patient centered care in a small community environment, getting to know staff and building relationships. As hospitalist physician, he enjoys being able to get to know his patients on a personal level and guide them through their illness and assist in healing.

He joins the current hospitalist team of Doug Cifuentes, D.O., Veronica Rosenberg, M.D. and Milthilesh Tamirisa, M.D.
