Prescription Drug Take-Back Program

We are pleased to announce that the Wood County Take-Back Program continues to offer Wood County Residents permanent locations to drop off prescription drugs. The Bowling Green Police Division and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office have identified locations within each of their buildings where local residents will be free to dispose of their outdated or unwanted prescriptions.

What can be returned?

Caplets
Other solid dosage forms of pharmaceuticals drugs

What can-NOT be returned?

Liquids
Plastics
Glass pill containers
Radioactive materials
Bio-hazards
Used/unused syringes
Drug paraphernalia
Illicitly manufactured controlled substances
Other medical waste or contaminants
