Kathryn Dalton, M.D., joins Bowling Green Family Care Center
Kathryn Dalton, M.D., recently joined the Bowling Green Family Care Center team, bringing compassionate and expert care to the community.
Dr. Dalton has a unique and diverse background in family medicine. Since 2010, she has worked primarily in New Zealand, serving patients at Strandon Health in New Plymouth. She has also spent time at the UW Health Family Medicine Clinic in Portage, Wisconsin. The opportunity to return to northwest Ohio and be closer to family drew Dr. Dalton back to her roots. She sees her role at Wood County Hospital's Bowling Green Family Care Center as an ideal opportunity to impact her community. Dr. Dalton earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University and completed her residency training at the La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency program in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
Dr. Dalton's clinical interests are wide-ranging, including caring for patients from newborns to late life, providing women's health services and offering palliative care in the office setting. Her passion for supporting patients throughout all stages of life is evident in her approach to care. "As a primary care physician, I enjoy getting to know people and families and supporting them throughout their lives to be as healthy as they can be," Dr. Dalton shares. In her new role, she looks forward to working alongside the dedicated team at Bowling Green Family Care Center.
Outside of work, Dr. Dalton enjoys spending time outdoors and reading to unwind and stay balanced.
