Dr. Kostecke Joins the Pediatric Primary Care Team at Wood County Medical Associates

Rekha Kostecke, M.D., FAAP, joined the pediatrics team at Wood County Medical Associates on September 1. For the past 20 years, Dr. Kostecke has provided care at her practice in Milford, Michigan. She received her medical degree from the J.L.N Medical College in Ajmer (Raj) India, where she also completed an internship. Her residency training was completed at Wayne Oakland Child/Adolescent Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan and the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Kostecke is board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. As a member of the Wood County Medical Associates team, Dr. Kostecke enjoys bringing her years of experience. In providing pediatric care, Dr. Kostecke shared that she “Does whatever is in her individual or the collective power of the pediatrics team to help children and their families master the rapid changes and risks that confront them today.”

Dr. Kostecke has a clinical interest in the role of integrative medicine in a child’s overall health. She specializes in a variety of pediatric care services, including nutrition, sports medicine, sports nutrition and natural and complementary medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and traveling. You might be surprised to know that Dr. Kostecke is fluent in six different languages.
