2022 Bowling Green Outstanding Male Citizen Award – Dr. Wojciechowski

Dr. Thomas Wojciechowski Sr. was honored by the BG Chamber with The 2022 BG Outstanding Male Citizen Award for serving the Bowling Green community for 46 years, sharing his expertise with countless organizations over his career.

Dr. Wojciechowski has been a member of the Wood County Hospital medical staff since April of 1978. He has served local residents from birth to their senior years providing primary care services at the Bowling Green Family Physicians office. In addition, Dr. Wojciechowski has served as Chairman of the Board and was a member of the Board of Directors with Wood County Hospital, as well as being a member of the Ohio State Medical Association. He is the Medical Director for five extended care facilities in the BG area and volunteers his time as the BGSU Hockey team physician.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wojciechowski has been recognized for the compassion and kindness provided to his patients and their families. He has received many accolades, including the Compassionate Doctor Award (multiple times) and Nursing Home Doctor of the Year, named by the State of Ohio. In addition to sharing his medical knowledge to benefit the community, Dr. Wojciechowski serves as an Usher and Eucharistic Minister at St. Thomas More University Parish.
