Coaches Clinic

The Sports Medicine Department offers an Ohio Department of Education Pupil Activity First Aid Program throughout the year. The Coaches Clinic is designed for all coaches who need to receive their first aid certification to supervise extracurricuar activities.  Participants will receive the coaches' three-year certificate.  On-line registration is required. For more information, call (419) 354-8950.

Sports Trauma Clinic

During the school year, Wood County Hospital offers a free sports trauma clinic for scholastic athletes.  The clinic will be open on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month (except holiday weekends).  The clinics are held between 8:30a.m. and 9:30 a.m.  Injured athletes are evaluated by a sports medicine physician and athletic trainer.
