Children's Wellness
The Wellness Department offers health and safety programs for children from pre-school through fourth grade.

The program options are:

 

Short Program

  • 20-30 minute presentation with Stuffee (includes hands-on participation andinstructor/student interaction).
  • 20-30 minute presentation includes a health and wellness topic, hands on participation and instructor/student interaction.

Full program

  • 45-60 minute presentation with Stuffee (includes hands-on participation and instructor/student interaction)
  • 20-30 minute presenation of a health and wellness topic and a hospital tour.

High Five Health and Hygiene is designed for pre-school to first grade children.  The program can be tailored to fit the needs of the class.

Wellness 4 Kids is an interactive presentation designed to teach children in grades 2-4 keys for staying health and safe. Topics include how to make healthy food choices, the importance of health and fitness, how the human body works, controlling anger, hygiene, self-esteem and general safety.  The presentation may also include STUFFEE, a 7-foot, blue haired doll used to teach anatomy and diversity.  Hospital tour included.
