WCH named a Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital by Chartis Group for 2025

Wood County Hospital has again been named one of the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the country by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, a leading healthcare advisory firm. This prestigious recognition, based on the Chartis Group INDEX®, evaluates hospitals across multiple areas, including financial stability, quality and patient outcomes.

This designation highlights facilities that demonstrate excellence in delivering high-quality healthcare in rural settings. WCH's inclusion on this list underscores its commitment to innovation, patient-centered care and operational excellence.
