Wood County Hospital is connected to the ProMedica Stroke Network. Teleconferencing equipment in our ER links to the ProMedica Stroke Team (including two fellowship-trained stroke neurologists, a dedicated stroke nurse and a neurosurgeon). Using high-quality teleconferencing equipment, they can work in tandem with our emergency department physicians to treat strokes faster, saving precious time. Learn more here.
