Volunteering at WCH
Volunteer Services offers an opportunity for members of the community to volunteer in a variety of areas throughout the hospital. These opportunities include clerical support, direct patient/family contact and making puppets for young patients. Volunteers also represent Wood County Hospital in the community by delivering Wheeled Meals to those who are homebound.

Our Philosophy
Volunteer at WCH
More than 150 volunteers logged thousands of service hours at Wood County Hospital in 2004. Many are visible visiting patients, delivering newspapers and flowers, staffing our gift shop, greeting visitors at our information desk and serving as liasions between our staff and the families of surgical patients. Our volunteers represent all facets of our community. We are always looking for good, new volunteers. If you are interested, fill out the application below or contact Susan Halleck, Director of Volunteers at, (419) 354-8942.
